The new projector brand, TAXAN, debuts with U6 series,
A lightweight, compact projector with an emphasis on cost performance.

Kaga Components Co., Ltd. ( 2-2-9 Hongo, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo Japan; Yukio Takashi, President ) a subsidiary of Kaga Electronics Co., Ltd., having taken over the projection operations of PLUS Vision Corp.(with PLUS brand) in April of this year, will launch a series of projectors in December 2006 with brand name of TAXAN which is Kaga Electronics group’s brand.

It is TAXAN U6 series of DLP® projectors featuring portability and lightweight, 2kg, yet providing high brightness up to 2500 lm.
TAXAN U6 series offers 3 models, one SVGA model and two XGA models, and features thermal management for reliable and low noise operation.

Kaga Components plans to line up TAXAN projectors with additional new series, PS series, which
supports mobile application in the first quarter 2007.

  In addition to lightweight and compactness, body design from thermal management contributes low noise operation, 28dB in Eco mode (U6-132, U6-232).
