Adjusting the Image

Answers

Q.
Why do images appear out of focus?

A.
Adjust the focus manually, there is a focus ring near the lens.

Q.
Why are the images distorted?

A.
Use the controls on the projector or remote control to correct images. A keystone correction feature make this easy by automatically correcting for vertical misalignment between the projector and the screen. To correct other kinds of distortion position the projector so that the projection axis is perpendicular to the screen.

Q.
Why don’t the colours look right?

A.
The projector has a number of different colour modes. Choose the colour mode that is best for the situation ? such as colour-priority or brightness-priority mode.
Colour reproduction is also affected by various factors in the projection environment, such as the type and brightness of the surrounding light source. When colour reproduction is an important priority, pay attention to the choice of screen and to the lighting in the vicinity of the screen. Another option is to make use of calibration processing for adjusting the image signals outputted by the PC.

Q.
Why are images from a laptop a different size when projected on the screen?

A.
Check the supported resolutions of the projector and the PC resolution. If the resolutions, such as SVGA (800 x 600) or XGA (1024 x 768) do not match, the projector and the PC will have different image sizes. Supported resolutions differ with projector models.

Q.
How do I get the lamp to last longer, or not to be so bright?

A.
Switch the machine into Eco Mode via the remote control. This will reduce the brightness and also extend the lamp life. Enter the menu system then: Setup - Mode - Eco Mode.
